An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Benitez in the 18th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Zoran Zahrádka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Chevalier kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Braulio Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Lenertej read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. With 22 minutes on the clock, Narciso Jesco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 23rd minute, Narciso Jesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfredo Vargas during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Vargas was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witold Pryla in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zoran Zahrádka saved Zuberbühler FC from getting behind. Zoran Zahrádka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witold Pryla's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Zoran Zahrádka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Crispo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ademir de Sena scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zoran Zahrádka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
