An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Jäckel in the 5th minute of play forced 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Qin Sen Chen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to 1930 Bafraspor getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bebeto Sarmento hit a great ball. When 1930 Bafraspor's Robin Hood in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hertha 1969's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Erich Pietta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Qin Sen Chen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Jäckel in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Robin Hood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1930 Bafraspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Robin Hood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erich Pietta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Erich Pietta came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by 1930 Bafraspor's Robin Hood. But to his dismay, Robin Hood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mark Stripf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Mark Stripf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Robin Hood ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erich Pietta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Jakob got free with Qin Sen Chen in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erich Pietta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Hood in the 37th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Mark Stripf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1930 Bafraspor's Qin Sen Chen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robin Hood struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Erich Pietta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1930 Bafraspor. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

1930 Bafraspor's İbrahim Ethem Afgan was substituted for Ahmet Çağrı Ziver. Mark Stripf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qin Sen Chen having to make a save. After 53 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Dante Jakob. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Erich Pietta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Hertha 1969's Mark Stripf to fire away a dangerous shot which Qin Sen Chen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee ignored Hertha 1969's protests and gave Ruth Forbrig a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Ruth Forbrig got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 81 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Boppo Obert. 1930 Bafraspor made a substitution. Mitch Batshuayi replaced Robin Hood. In the 87th minute of the game Boppo Obert made a throw-in which Mathieu Tippelt played forward. In the 88th minute, 1930 Bafraspor's Mitch Batshuayi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. 92 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Erich Pietta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitch Batshuayi. After 97 minutes, Bebeto Sarmento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1930 Bafraspor and the Hertha 1969 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bebeto Sarmento hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The 1930 Bafraspor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
