Spectators: 8007 (Terracing: 6007, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adam Jäckel took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Hertha 1969's Jörn Achleitner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jörn Achleitner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hertha 1969 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jörn Achleitner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 12 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Dante Jakob. 14 minutes into the game, Folke Flink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plan B's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hertha 1969 the free kick. A collision led to Plan B getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Folke Flink hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Tippelt in the 17th minute of play forced Plan B's goalkeeper Leif Västberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hertha 1969's Erich Pietta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Hertha 1969 from getting a goal against them. Folke Flink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Erich Pietta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Ruth Forbrig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hertha 1969's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plan B the free kick. Mathieu Tippelt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leif Västberg having to make a save. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Plan B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Flink didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Tippelt. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jens Westerberg made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Plan B defense, Mathieu Tippelt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Västberg. The Plan B fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Västberg should have stopped the shot. Mathieu Tippelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leif Västberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Hardenberger came free, but Erich Pietta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Plan B booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boppo Obert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Jäckel kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Westerberg in the 62nd minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Erich Pietta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 73rd minute when Mark Stripf elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Plan B's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Stripf came free, but Leif Västberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, Hertha 1969's Mathieu Tippelt made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leif Västberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Westerberg came free, but Erich Pietta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erich Pietta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Westerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erich Pietta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens Westerberg went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 87th match minute, Plan B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Mills to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Stripf got free with Leif Västberg in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathieu Tippelt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leif Västberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hertha 1969's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
