In the 12th minute, Nereo Michael reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Konstantin Pančur. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Deportivo Pergamino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Nordby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Eneko in the 23rd minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Deportivo Pergamino got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Michael. The HIT Gorica fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when HIT Gorica's Venancio Abalos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the game, Delmiro Lizbeth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Pergamino the free kick. In the 48th minute, Nereo Michael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantin Pančur was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Istok Šabotić was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Nereo Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstantin Pančur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Istok Šabotić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Hermengildo Aresti made a huge save. HIT Gorica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Istok Šabotić in the 56th minute. The corner led HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić to fire away a dangerous shot which Hermengildo Aresti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Deportivo Pergamino's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
