Ambrosio Urbes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silverio Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Anjullan AFC's Ambrosio Urbes got control of the ball when Ramiro Blai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Congo Bongo's Diego Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Matthew in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Urbes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Jerrold. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Telo in the 24th minute of play forced Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Urbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Anjullan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Lalla to maneuver through the defense. Diego Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Matthew in the 30th minute of play. Ramiro Blai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's Silverio Matthew sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute Victoriano Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Urbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Panpili. In the 43rd minute Roberto Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Urbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Rudolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Congo Bongo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anjullan AFC the free kick.

After some careless play in the Anjullan AFC defense, Ramiro Blai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ambrosio Urbes. The Anjullan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Urbes should have stopped the shot. Diego Ceresso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Matthew in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Silverio Matthew ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Damian Unax's late challenge caught a Congo Bongo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Unax helped the player get up and apologised. Ambrosio Urbes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Anjullan AFC made a substitution. Omar Bitxintxo replaced Narciso Fix. Anjullan AFC's Lucio Vitin was substituted for Herminio Paublo. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Rudolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match, Gualterio Bonadona got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diego Ceresso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Diego Ceresso was a little too slow when Gualterio Bonadona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 3-3. When Roberto Telo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Congo Bongo's protests and gave Roberto Telo a yellow card for diving instead. Congo Bongo's Diego Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Unax in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Anjullan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Goiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Ramiro Blai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrosio Urbes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Damian Unax hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
