The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, JS 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Sindo to maneuver through the defense. Eufemio Zubizarreta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Palban in the 13th minute. Eufemio Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Co Gøte in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes JS 22 got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Baumar. 17 minutes into the game, Ponce Delgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Robert Steffens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Eufemio Zubizarreta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, JS 22's goal looked a bit too open when Ventura Astudillo came free, but Robert Steffens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, JS 22 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Baumar to maneuver through the defense. Ventura Astudillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Steffens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ventura Astudillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Robert Steffens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Solera in the 38th minute of the match. Saverio Sindo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Sindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The wind increased when Co Gøte made the kick off in the second half. Co Gøte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufemio Zubizarreta having to interfere. Eufemio Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Co Gøte in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Co Gøte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufemio Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Xandro Aguado put in a rough tackle. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Tipi Mayor was substituted for Ventura Astudillo. Eufemio Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Co Gøte in the 75th minute of the match. Gorosti Mora struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Robert Steffens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07. Saverio Sindo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eufemio Zubizarreta. Eufemio Zubizarreta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. JS 22 had won after a very even match.
