Spectators: 7988 (Terracing: 5992, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maurinho Valadares got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Maurinho Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Txatxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 5th minute, José Maria Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Valadares came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MUSHIBA FC's Toninho Matos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Domingos Giraldo, made in the 13th minute of the game. MUSHIBA FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Q. T. I.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan de Almeida took the corner. The corner ended in Juan de Almeida almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dida Mesquita during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dida Mesquita hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. MUSHIBA FC's Maurinho Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Valadares in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Allan Campidelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUSHIBA FC and the Q. T. I. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Juan de Almeida the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MUSHIBA FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Juan de Almeida had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Juan de Almeida got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. João Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Macerio in the 40th minute of play. Q. T. I. made a substitution. Rodrigo Cruz replaced Lázaro Haitz.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Chap stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Tande's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Paulo Txatxu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Claudinho Tande hit a great ball. Q. T. I. made a substitution. Jaime Menendo replaced German Veto. Maurinho Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. João Augusto Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Chap in the 64th minute of the match. Paulo Txatxu made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Claudinho Tande sent off a good shot on target. João Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Macerio in the 66th minute of play. Norberto Miranda came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paulo Txatxu could save by the left post. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Q. T. I.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dida Mesquita was slow to take the kick. During this time MUSHIBA FC's players had a chance to rest. MUSHIBA FC's Dida Mesquita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Txatxu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 71st minute, Allan Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natã Paiva hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gilmar Meira hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Q. T. I.'s zone, Natã Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Txatxu came out of the goal and Natã Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute of the match MUSHIBA FC got a corner. Q. T. I.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dida Mesquita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on MUSHIBA FC's corner Dida Mesquita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Txatxu quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Chap in the 86th minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Tande. 88 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Sotil came free, but João Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natã Paivas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Paulo Txatxu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 92 minutes Q. T. I.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dida Mesquita who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Dida Mesquita got a free kick in the 95th minute.
