Spectators: 8065 (Terracing: 6050, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Txatxu came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball. But to his dismay, Ernie Ball quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Blagoy Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Edgar-Allan Doro got a free kick in the 26th minute. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Angel Comizzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Chap came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Balc. A hard shot by Rolando Su from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Angel Comizzo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Q. T. Laureano Mercurio replaced Domingos Giraldo. With a little luck, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Angel Comizzo got control of the ball when German Veto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Chap to make the kick off. Angel Comizzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Sotil's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Q. T. I.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Quique Doro was slow to take the kick. During this time Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Blagoy Doro to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulo Txatxu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Balc to maneuver through the defense. Octavian Balc hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Nestor Chap struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Angel Comizzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Q. T. I.. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Octavian Balc hit a great ball. Nestor Chap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernie Ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Delmiro Macerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Angel Comizzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Menendo was slow to take the kick. During this time Q. T. I.'s players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Perutxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ignacio Ignatius hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Quique Doro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Txatxu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Chap in the 86th minute of play. Diego Tristan hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ernie Ball's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Paulo Txatxu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Paulo Txatxu made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ernie Ball sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Adrian Isăilă hit a great ball. Angel Comizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Sotil in the 96th minute of the match. The Q. T. I. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's performance. The match ended with a win for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti.
