Sahala Maranatha started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Thorstein Loller came free, but Kurniawan Bisri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Halfdan Hornegaard came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Strib Galacticos IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halfdan Hornegaard couldn't finish the play. Thorstein Loller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Osimhen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kurniawan Bisri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halfdan Hornegaard in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorvald Tener to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Andra Levandy came free, but Johannes Stenberdt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurniawan Bisri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorstein Loller in the 28th minute of play. Halfdan Hornegaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Thorvald Tener got a free kick in the 31st minute. Johannes Stenberdt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andra Levandy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Francescoli got free with Kurniawan Bisri in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Andra Levandy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Thorstein Loller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurniawan Bisri. PHOENIX SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorstein Loller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thorstein Loller in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurniawan Bisri saved PHOENIX SC from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Kurniawan Bisri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorstein Loller. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thorstein Loller to strike the kick off in the second half. Thorstein Loller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurniawan Bisri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Kurniawan Bisri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorstein Loller in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sobur Al-Habsy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Halfdan Hornegaard got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apa Mau during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX SC's Apa Mau got a free kick in the 74th minute. Kurniawan Bisri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Francescoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Enzo Francescoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kurniawan Bisri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strib Galacticos IF's Johannes Stenberdt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Strib Galacticos IF from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Johannes Stenberdt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apa Mau. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apa Mau in the 85th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Johannes Stenberdt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Tanonaka came free, but Johannes Stenberdt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes, Bobbi Mejnholt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strib Galacticos IF and the PHOENIX SC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
