Glentown FC's attentive Georg Lind managed to snatch the ball when Freddy Olemans made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Glentown FC's Edwin Näfver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uwe Nwachukwu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Freddy Olemans's late challenge caught a Glentown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Olemans helped the player get up and apologised. Freddy Olemans kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Uwe Nwachukwu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Liljeström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Moerman in the 30th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Edwin Näfver's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Uwe Nwachukwu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Okan Buruk got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Klaus Dhondt. Jim Janssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uwe Nwachukwu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ahlkvist in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Glentown FC's zone, Jerry Moerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Ros came out of the goal and Jerry Moerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Jerry Moerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Draconia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Moerman in the 77th minute of play forced Glentown FC's goalkeeper Stefan Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin Näfver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Uwe Nwachukwu made a huge save. Edwin Näfver might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uwe Nwachukwu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Näfver ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Draconia's Uwe Nwachukwu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Draconia from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the FC Draconia defense, Edwin Näfver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uwe Nwachukwu. The FC Draconia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uwe Nwachukwu should have stopped the shot. Jim Janssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Stefan Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
