Jörn Liljeström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halfdan Hornegaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Stefan Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Stenberdt made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Edwin Näfver sent off a good shot on target. Edwin Näfver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Johannes Stenberdt made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Sonni Engklint got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Glentown FC's Andréas Lindgren got a free kick in the 13th minute. Edwin Näfver struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Johannes Stenberdt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glentown FC. After a defensive mix-up in Strib Galacticos IF's zone, Edwin Näfver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Stenberdt came out of the goal and Edwin Näfver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Glentown FC's Edwin Näfver dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Glentown FC's Adam Malmström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Thorlejf Hestbek in the 40 minute of the game. With a little luck, Strib Galacticos IF's Johannes Stenberdt got control of the ball when Edwin Näfver tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's Edwin Näfver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johannes Stenberdt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwin Näfver to make the kick off. Edwin Näfver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Stenberdt having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halfdan Hornegaard got free with Stefan Ros in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute Thorstein Loller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Stenberdt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Näfver, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Stefan Ros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halfdan Hornegaard in the 73rd minute. Thorstein Loller succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 76th playminute. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glentown FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sonni Engklint was slow to take the kick. During this time Strib Galacticos IF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sonni Engklint got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stefan Ros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stefan Ros was a little too slow when Thorstein Loller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. Stefan Ros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorstein Loller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Thorlejf Hestbek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Strib Galacticos IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
