The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute A.J. Kapten came free, but Addi Kremer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Addi Kremer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olof Soned showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Olof Soned could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Addi Kremer made a huge save. BK Tåfjutt's attentive Claes Telin managed to snatch the ball when Albrecht Scheuer made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. The tension between the VfL Bad Nenndorf and the BK Tåfjutt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Arne Rentsch. Addi Kremer made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Olof Soned sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, BK Tåfjutt's Claes Telin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When BK Tåfjutt's A.J. Kapten in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lou Harnack was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th match minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Rentsch to maneuver through the defense. Matthias Schwendler's late challenge caught a BK Tåfjutt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Schwendler helped the player get up and apologised. BK Tåfjutt's Eric Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Böck in the 81st minute of play. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Simon Böck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Olofsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 85 played minutes BK Tåfjutt got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Deckberg. In the 89th minute, Lukas Melander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, BK Tåfjutt's Lukas Melander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Addi Kremer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BK Tåfjutt fans cheered their team off the field, for while VfL Bad Nenndorf had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
