Spectators: 8540 (Terracing: 6406, Seating: 1964, VIP seats: 170) BK Tåfjutt's Olof Soned started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Joachim Björklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Tåfjutt and the Ágætis Byrjun players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BK Tåfjutt's Joachim Björklund got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Robert Folkers. 6 minutes into the game, Jelte de Boer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ágætis Byrjun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Tåfjutt the free kick. After 6 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Jelte de Boer. In the 7th minute, Olof Soned left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Tåfjutt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 13 minutes of play, Ágætis Byrjun's Lucien de Ridder made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Olofsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Soned came free, but Zé Pedro Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BK Tåfjutt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niklas Ålberg in the 18th minute. After taking down the ball on BK Tåfjutt's corner Niklas Ålberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Pedro Valadares quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Ålberg in the 19th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul van Mol in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Tåfjutt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucien de Ridder was slow to take the kick. During this time Ágætis Byrjun's players had a chance to rest. Ágætis Byrjun's Lucien de Ridder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Olofsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 29 minutes into the match, BK Tåfjutt's goal looked a bit too open when Paul van Mol came free, but Eric Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ágætis Byrjun's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucien de Ridder in the 33rd minute. Ágætis Byrjun's Zé Pedro Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Soned in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Olof Soned shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul van Mol in the 40th minute of play forced BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Eric Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harris Theisens kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Niklas Ålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Tåfjutt's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Ålberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Pedro Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

BK Tåfjutt's Nicklas Qvarnström was substituted for Rickard Julin. BK Tåfjutt made a substitution. Lukas Melander replaced Olof Soned. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Jelte de Boer got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the match, BK Tåfjutt's goal looked a bit too open when Paul van Mol came free, but Eric Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Olofsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul van Mol in the 60th minute of the match. Lukas Melander struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Zé Pedro Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Tåfjutt. Eric Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul van Mol, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute Paul van Mol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in BK Tåfjutt's zone, Emil van Fessum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Olofsson came out of the goal and Emil van Fessum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Han van Asten replaced Jelte de Boer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Melander in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Pedro Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrick van der Valk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oni Nerad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Pedro Valadares having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Melander in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Pedro Valadares saved Ágætis Byrjun from getting behind. In the 86th minute BK Tåfjutt were awarded a corner. Niklas Ålberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on BK Tåfjutt's corner Niklas Ålberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Pedro Valadares quite easily take care of the ball. Folke Hedling hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul van Mol in the 97th minute of play forced BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Eric Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
