A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. He Qiang Sang hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Siqueira. In the 34th minute of the match Zero Gravity got a corner. Renan da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Caetano having to interfere.

If He Qiang Sang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The Zero Gravity fans cheered their team off the field, for while CE LAJEADENSE RS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
