Jeremias Vedillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimiro Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Bonadona in the 25th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Volvimos mejores got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Urtats. Jeremias Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Volvimos mejores's Jeremias Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Hurtig in the 36th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Vladimiro Onofre successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeremias Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Eurico Lima took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Vladimiro Onofre to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Volvimos mejores's zone, Emilio Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Vedillo came out of the goal and Emilio Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfons Hurtig during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emilio Baumar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Habakkuk Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Onofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
