Nunez Iruinea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nunez Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Abraão in the 13th minute of play. Rafael Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when David Elorri sent off a good shot on target. Falcor Athletic Club's Nunez Iruinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Munhoz in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Marco Gaspar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Falcor Athletic Club's Nunez Iruinea. Nunez Iruinea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th match minute, Minotauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Terra to maneuver through the defense. Marco Gaspar took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nunez Iruinea. Nunez Iruinea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 36th minute Abelardo Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Celestino Eufemio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falcor Athletic Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minotauro the free kick. Marco Gaspar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nunez Iruinea having to make a save. 46 minutes into the game, Guto Abraão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nunez Iruinea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Munhoz to strike the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Arce hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Nunez Iruinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Nunez Iruinea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Gaspar in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes of play, Falcor Athletic Club's Filomeno Lleir made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafael Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Elorri in the 69th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Léo Cardozo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minotauro and the Falcor Athletic Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Minotauro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Iruinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Gaspar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nunez Iruinea firmly grabbed it by the left post. Abelardo Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nunez Iruinea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léo Cardozo got free with Nunez Iruinea in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nunez Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Munhoz in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Minotauro eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
