In the 6th minute, STORM's Matvey Berezhnoy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ercole Giordano. Ercole Giordano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When STORM's Matvey Berezhnoy in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 18 played minutes Matvey Berezhnoy rounded Broom of the System DA13's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Rasul Odintsov's late challenge caught a Broom of the System DA13's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rasul Odintsov helped the player get up and apologised. Konstantin Kuznetsov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Mastrangelo in the 30th minute of play. Matvey Berezhnoy hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Artur Kulebyakin fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STORM's protests and gave Artur Kulebyakin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Ciccio Di Ruscio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and STORM's Konstantin Kuznetsov didn't even have to move. Ercole Giordano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matvey Berezhnoy in the 43rd minute of the match. If Matvey Berezhnoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Mastrangelo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, STORM's Matvey Berezhnoy got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Broom of the System DA13's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Homutov came free, but Ercole Giordano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Homutov struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ercole Giordano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STORM. In the 97th minute Matvey Berezhnoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Giordano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Broom of the System DA13's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
