Gladiadores's Wilfredo Monico got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateo Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Zabaleta's zone, Evelio Manilan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Bittor came out of the goal and Evelio Manilan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Herauso in the 27th minute of play. Gregorio Chuse was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
