The audience was convinced that Ignacio Grier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yavor Zehirov was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ignacio Grier put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Yavor Zehirov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Pisarski got free with Bart Gary in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th match minute, Rijosos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyle Dotson to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Grier kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Rijosos F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Spencer Crain hit a great ball. When Rijosos F.C.'s Ignacio Grier in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Rijosos F.C. booed when Botev Plovdiv 1912 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valko Mitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Rijosos F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Rijosos F.C.'s Ignacio Grier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Botev Plovdiv 1912 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Stoycho Shenkov hit a great ball. Yavor Zehirov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Grier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignacio Grier was the one to do the kick off. Ignacio Grier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Yavor Zehirov 51 minutes into the match. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Igor Pisarski got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Pisarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Gary having to interfere. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Elenko Malezanov was substituted for Bayan Kasapov. After a defensive mix-up in Botev Plovdiv 1912's zone, Spencer Crain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavor Zehirov came out of the goal and Spencer Crain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Valko Mitin. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rijosos F.C.! Bart Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bratan Vladikov in the 71st minute of play. After 75 minutes, Igor Pisarski made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rijosos F.C.'s Bart Gary tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bratan Vladikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bart Gary tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Stoycho Shenkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Botev Plovdiv 1912 and the Rijosos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a freekick which was hit by Stoycho Shenkov. Petko Lyubchenkov hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Bart Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bratan Vladikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Igor Pisarski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bart Gary. In the 95th minute of the match Anthony Irvin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yavor Zehirov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bart Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bratan Vladikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rijosos F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
