After 3 minutes, Fernán Pereda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariachi FC and the ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mariachi FC's Fernán Pereda got a free kick in the 4th minute. Evaristo Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Parrochia, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Victor Urrejola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Cucao in the 10th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Elias Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Urrejola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Héctor David Mason was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariachi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ the free kick. Héctor David Mason kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Cucao in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Urrejola saved Mariachi FC from getting behind. The supporters of Mariachi FC booed when ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Ofelio came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mariachi FC's Víctor Soto. But to his dismay, Víctor Soto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mariachi FC's Victor Urrejola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Cucao in the 41st minute of play. Octavio Chan came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victor Urrejola could save by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Melgarejo made a kick off. Evaristo Ofelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Parrochia in the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's zone, Víctor Soto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Ofelio came out of the goal and Víctor Soto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Víctor Soto kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Mariachi FC booed when ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Ofelio made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Raimundo Melgarejo sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Octavio Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Urrejola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Ceandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Victor Urrejola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mariachi FC booed when ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Octavio Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Urrejola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vladimiro Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Kelemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Urrejola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Kelemen took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Urrejola. Victor Urrejola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vladimiro Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Victor Urrejola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
