Leonardo Deunoro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Leonardo Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes, Plumerillo's Albano Goito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliseo Abeita came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Plumerillo reached it. When Miguel Porfiro fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motu's protests and gave Miguel Porfiro a yellow card for diving instead. Miguel Porfiro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Plumerillo's Ciriaco Shantala got a free kick in the 11th minute. Motu's Teofilo Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Harriet charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Harriet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 20 minutes into the match, Motu's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Pirmin came free, but Eliseo Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Laurin in the 24th minute of play forced Motu's goalkeeper Eliseo Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Plumerillo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ciriaco Shantala hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Victoriano Pirmin made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Motu's Horacio Harriet got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Motu booed when Plumerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Gorka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Abreu. In the 57th minute, Victoriano Pirmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Motu's Eliseo Abeita got control of the ball when Guido Jorrin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Teofilo Artaldo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motu's protests and gave Teofilo Artaldo a yellow card for diving instead. Teofilo Artaldo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The Motu support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
