Karl-Magnus Nyberg scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Numan Bayındır, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Özakıncı in the 9th minute of play. When Aytuğ Gökyüzü fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Evcilerspor's protests and gave Aytuğ Gökyüzü a yellow card for diving instead. Mustafa Numan Bayındır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Jönsson in the 13th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Mustafa Numan Bayındır successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute, Rahim Özakıncı made a precise shot to the right of Michel Duset. Asarum's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Asarum's Mustafa Numan Bayındır threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henrik Engström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Asarum's Michel Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytuğ Gökyüzü in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Henrik Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Numan Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Rahim Özakıncı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Evcilerspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asarum the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Asarum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aytuğ Gökyüzü in the 36th minute of play forced Asarum's goalkeeper Michel Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henrik Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Numan Bayındır was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henrik Engström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 41 minute of play. Mustafa Numan Bayındır was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Henrik Engström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrik Engström really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aytuğ Gökyüzü stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evcilerspor's Mustafa Numan Bayındır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Jönsson in the 54th minute of play. Mustafa Numan Bayındır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Jönsson in the 56th minute of the match. Mustafa Numan Bayındır took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evcilerspor's Mustafa Numan Bayındır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Engström in the 65th minute of play. Asarum's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Aytuğ Gökyüzü scored to the left of an out of position Michel Duset, making the score, 3-2. In the 74th minute, Isac Lindkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytuğ Gökyüzü in the 81st minute of play. Aytuğ Gökyüzü might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Duset. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aytuğ Gökyüzü ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th match minute, Asarum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Larsson to maneuver through the defense. During the 93rd minute of the match Aytuğ Gökyüzü completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aytuğ Gökyüzü a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Evcilerspor's Aytuğ Gökyüzü got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Karl-Magnus Nyberg charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Magnus Nyberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Asarum got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Nyberg. Rahim Özakıncı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Asarum fans cheered their team off the field, for while Evcilerspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
