Juan Iztal might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ekber Kemalettin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Iztal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute Juan Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekber Kemalettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Tano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Claudio Ipar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ekber Kemalettin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 55 minutes into the match, Ahmet Gündüz Yesari notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club Atlethico Talleres's Anibal Nalo. Anibal Nalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Necaettin Beksan, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Anibal Nalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yesari went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Hatayspor getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Müjdat Dicle hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlethico Talleres defense, Ahmet Gündüz Yesari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Nalo. The Club Atlethico Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Nalo should have stopped the shot.
