After 5 minutes, Benedito Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALO 13™ and the Esmeralda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedito Leão hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes of play, Esmeralda AFC's Inocencio Luar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho da Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Samuca Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Artizar in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrinho da Silveira saved GALO 13™ from getting behind. Esmeralda AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Melquiades Lamberto in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, GALO 13™'s Eliseu Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Silbestre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Benigno Silbestre made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Benedito Leão sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the game, Cristian Rufo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pedrinho da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Bernabe Artizar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrinho da Silveira was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Pedrinho da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Luar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Bernabe Artizar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuca Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Restu to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Bernabe Artizar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedrinho da Silveira. The goal made the score 1-4. Inocencio Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho da Silveira having to interfere. Bernabe Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Pedrinho da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho da Silveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernabe Artizar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 65 minute of play. Bernabe Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo de Amorim lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 69th minute, one of GALO 13™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GALO 13™. Bernabe Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pedrinho da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Severiano Clementi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esmeralda AFC and the GALO 13™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severiano Clementi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Esmeralda AFC's Benigno Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Dante in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Samuca Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Silbestre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. Bernabe Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernabe Artizar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedrinho da Silveira came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernabe Artizar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-8 in the 93rd minute. Esmeralda AFC's Inocencio Luar got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esmeralda AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
