Ugnius Budnikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Andrzejewski having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Zbyszko Andrzejewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to F.C. Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ulryk Klejnowski hit a great ball. Ugnius Budnikas, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wincent Skrzypiec kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to F.C. Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ulryk Klejnowski hit a great ball. Zbyszko Andrzejewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ugnius Budnikas in the 19th minute. If Fabian Resel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sosnowiec's Lucjan Scigan got a free kick in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FK Mintis Vilnius's Bernardas Gadliauskas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszko Andrzejewski. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Lucjan Scigan's late challenge caught a FK Mintis Vilnius's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Scigan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Lucjan Scigan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes, Fabian Resel made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FK Mintis Vilnius's Gvidonas Jakimavičius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Fabian Resel managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Sosnowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Resel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gvidonas Jakimavičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabian Resel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 minutes, Fabian Resel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Sosnowiec and the FK Mintis Vilnius players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Gvidonas Jakimavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Skrzypiec in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Ugnius Budnikas made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Andrzejewski. F.C. Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Wincent Skrzypiec kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Tadeusz Polakowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gvidonas Jakimavičius having to interfere. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Fabian Resel sped through FK Mintis Vilnius's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gvidonas Jakimavičius. After 88 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Klejnowski. After having played for 89 minutes, Motiejus Saudargis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Mintis Vilnius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Motiejus Saudargis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucjan Scigan got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Lucjan Scigan kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Žygimantas Baldauskas fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Mintis Vilnius's protests and gave Žygimantas Baldauskas a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FK Mintis Vilnius had won after a very even match.
