After having played for 23 minutes, Bengt-Arne Stabbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Arne Stabbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt Felin came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Lithuanian amber's Kęstutis Jakubauskas. But to his dismay, Kęstutis Jakubauskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Kipras Gelžinis made a precise shot to the right of Bengt Felin. AIF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 35 minutes into the game, Lithuanian amber's Kęstutis Jakubauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt Felin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 40th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Bengt Felin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AIF's Bengt Felin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kęstutis Jakubauskas in the 41st minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Kråk to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Lithuanian amber got a freekick which was hit by Kęstutis Jakubauskas. After 59 minutes of play, AIF's Bengt-Arne Stabbe made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ąžuolas Laucius was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kęstutis Jakubauskas during the 67th minute. After 97 played minutes, AIF's Gustaf Låsberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ąžuolas Laucius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AIF reached it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lithuanian amber eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
