Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Tirense F.C.'s Antônio Dantas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Valdo Ferreira got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute Fabian Kråk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Correia stood somewhat misplaced when Bengt-Arne Stabbe came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Antônio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes, Emanuel Larsfält mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIF and the Tirense F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Fabian Kråk fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonas Correia, passed just outside the right post. In the 17th minute Fabian Kråk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes AIF got a freekick which was hit by John Eliasson. Antônio Dantas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. During the 28th minute of the match Emanuel Larsfält completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emanuel Larsfält a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 29th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Norberto Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willian Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Felin having to interfere. Fabian Kråk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Fabian Kråk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Correia having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Kråk made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Kråk in the 53rd minute of play forced Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Jonas Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AIF's Bengt Felin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Dantas in the 57th minute of play. AIF's Bengt Felin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save AIF from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute of the match Alberto Abraão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt Felin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tirense F.C.'s Antônio Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bengt Felin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Dantas was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Antônio Dantas got a free kick in the 78th minute. Alberto Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Kråk in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Tirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Bengt Felin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Abraão in the 96th minute of play. Tirense F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
