Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Zé Pedro Mendes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Sebastião de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião de Senna hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Fabinho de Godoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sílvio Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabinho de Godoi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Ronaldinho Moura hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Campidelis in the 21st minute of play forced Chaves do 8 FC's goalkeeper Percy Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Oséias Rosa hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Bruninho Campidelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goblins F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaves do 8 FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Bruninho Campidelis got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Sebastião de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sílvio Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Goblins F.C.'s zone, Ricardinho Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Moraes came out of the goal and Ricardinho Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardinho Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sílvio Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Ramos. After 34 minutes, Fabinho de Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaves do 8 FC and the Goblins F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 37 minutes into the match, Chaves do 8 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Campidelis came free, but Percy Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardinho Lara during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Chaves do 8 FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho Lara.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jânio Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Pedro Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Chaves do 8 FC's Percy Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Mendes in the 61st minute of play. Percy Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mendes in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Egídio Cearense hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Zé Pedro Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaves do 8 FC's Percy Netto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waldemar Ramos hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Sebastião de Senna came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Chaves do 8 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião de Senna couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Zé Pedro Mendes took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Percy Netto to make any attempt to save it. After 91 played minutes Chaves do 8 FC got a freekick which was hit by Ademar Cosme. Waldemar Ramos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Chaves do 8 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Felipe Drogba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goblins F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goblins F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
