The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Borucki during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Brunatni Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Borucki. Ferruccio Calcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Furgat having to interfere. The Villa Gordiani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Del Vecchio should have stopped the shot. After 30th play minutes Damian Kornecki shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ciro Del Vecchio and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 33rd minute, Aldo Salemme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Kornecki came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Ciro Del Vecchio managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Brunatni Bełchatów's Damian Kornecki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 62 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Czeszyk came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brunatni Bełchatów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Kornecki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Villa Gordiani fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brunatni Bełchatów were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
