In the 12th minute, Cesinha Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Sandinense ADF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Régis de Alcântara hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halil Winskowsky got free with Tony de Sena in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandinense ADF's Tony de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Sandinense ADF from getting a goal against them. Halil Winskowsky who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Tony de Sena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodriguinho Dias in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johann Scheuerer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Penha was slow to take the kick. During this time Sandinense ADF's players had a chance to rest. When Cássio Maia fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandinense ADF's protests and gave Cássio Maia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Cássio Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigi Tegtmeyer in the 38th minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Sandinense ADF's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Winskowsky came free, but Tony de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ephraim Wichern during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Johann Scheuerer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cássio Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johann Scheuerer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Sandinense ADF's Rodriguinho Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johann Scheuerer. Johann Scheuerer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 96 played minutes Sandinense ADF got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Amorim. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
