Spectators: 7618 (Terracing: 5714, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wágner Miranda started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Clóvis Corrêa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tony de Sena. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 11th minute, Rodriguinho Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sandinense ADF booed when 20 DE SETEMBRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony de Sena made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Wágner Miranda sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Alessandro Neves put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tony de Sena. In the 27th minute of the match 20 DE SETEMBRO got a corner. Sandinense ADF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yuri Vieira ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on 20 DE SETEMBRO's corner Yuri Vieira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tony de Sena quite easily take care of the ball. If Cássio Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tony de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romário Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romário Linares during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Wágner Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodriguinho Dias was the one to do the kick off. Clóvis Corrêa scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sandinense ADF's Tony de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Corrêa in the 67th minute of play. Romário Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Gildo Valle's late challenge caught a 20 DE SETEMBRO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildo Valle helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Sandinense ADF got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Valle. Alessandro Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Corrêa in the 82nd minute of play forced Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Tony de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the 20 DE SETEMBRO defense, Rodriguinho Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder de Queiroz. The 20 DE SETEMBRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Tony de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Wágner Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony de Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Neves went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 20 DE SETEMBRO fully deserved thier win.
