Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faustino Asprilla kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halil Winskowsky in the 3rd minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Gabler came free, but Antônio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johann Scheuerer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Asprilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Winskowsky in the 8th minute of play. Hansjörg Selke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antônio Rezende. C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Winskowsky in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, C.A Gryffindor's Faustino Asprilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Faustino Asprilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves. In the 20thth minute of the game Halil Winskowsky who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When C.A Gryffindor's Faustino Asprilla in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie prevented a goal. 26 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Erler came free, but Antônio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Erler's late challenge caught a C.A Gryffindor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noel Erler helped the player get up and apologised. Noel Erler hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Gino Nölte. In the 30th minute of the match Rafa Diniz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johann Scheuerer skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Gabler in the 33rd minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Noel Erler was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. After 36 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Noel Erler. In the 37th minute, Faustino Asprilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Radomil Gabler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Rezende. C.A Gryffindor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radomil Gabler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Halil Winskowsky to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halil Winskowsky got free with Antônio Rezende in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Asprilla came free, but Johann Scheuerer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Asprilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Faustino Asprilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Gryffindor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Faustino Asprilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Faustino Asprilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's Johann Scheuerer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Faustino Asprilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Johann Scheuerer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Halil Winskowsky kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antônio Rezende. That made the score 3-2 in the 73 minute of play. Johann Scheuerer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Diniz in the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Asprilla in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johann Scheuerer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the game, Radomil Gabler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antônio Rezende. Radomil Gabler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Rafa Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
