Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Roman Hernandez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute Roman Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romário Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Baldomero Osoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Hernandez in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute Baldomiro Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romário Linares's late challenge caught a Almeyra F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romário Linares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Romário Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Roman Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Ticho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodriguinho Dias in the 35th minute. Tony de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Ascencio in the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Almeyra F.C.'s Edelmiro Ticho got control of the ball when Romário Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lázaro Ascencio struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tony de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almeyra F.C.. After a defensive mix-up in Almeyra F.C.'s zone, Cássio Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Ticho came out of the goal and Cássio Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodriguinho Dias during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sandinense ADF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rodriguinho Dias hit a great ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Tony de Sena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roman Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Ascencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Tony de Sena made a huge save. A collision led to Sandinense ADF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rodriguinho Dias hit a great ball. Sandinense ADF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Lázaro Ascencio scored to the left of an out of position Tony de Sena, making the score, 0-1. Lázaro Ascencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romário Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Sandinense ADF were furious when Josué Silveira was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 81st minute, one of Sandinense ADF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sandinense ADF. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Hernandez got free with Tony de Sena in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Sandinense ADF defense, Lázaro Ascencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony de Sena. The Sandinense ADF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony de Sena should have stopped the shot. Almeyra F.C.'s Edelmiro Ticho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Maia in the 93rd minute of play.
