After 13 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo dos Santos. 15 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Negrini came free, but Jean Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Corrado Negrini 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, I ritirandi di Canaus's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo dos Santos came free, but Bianco Roberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Arnaldo dos Santos made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bianco Roberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amola Fica scored 5-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Camillo Ucci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jean Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 80 minutes, Arnaldo dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sagarana Clube and the I ritirandi di Canaus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sagarana Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
