Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Vlas in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Artal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Iordache Murgu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordache Murgu couldn't finish the play. Manuel Inocente might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nichifor Badea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Inocente ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristo Artal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Vlas's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Cristo Artal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Vlas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Kiliz's late challenge caught a MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Kiliz helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Kiliz kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Trocha Media FC's Humberto Kiliz got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trocha Media FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicodim Agulescu was slow to take the kick. During this time MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's corner Nicodim Agulescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristo Artal quite easily take care of the ball. Cristo Artal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Murgu in the 32nd minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Răzvan Moșneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Moșneanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costel Vlass short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Cristo Artal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute Iordache Murgu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Artal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Vlas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cristo Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Esteban Ponce made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Trocha Media FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Kiliz. Cristo Artal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Murgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Trocha Media FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Vlas came free, but Cristo Artal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. Nichifor Badea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Lizardi in the 73rd minute of play. Manuel Inocente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 played minutes Trocha Media FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Inocente. Cristo Artal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Vlas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Costel Vlas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Vlas couldn't finish the play. Costel Vlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trocha Media FC's Cornelio Lizardi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trocha Media FC's Cristo Artal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Arapașu in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Trocha Media FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV side.
