When Nicholas Soon fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nagrand's protests and gave Nicholas Soon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nagrand getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Nicholas Soon hit a great ball. Alam Dyce made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Sidnei Trigo sent off a good shot on target. Tostão Goiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alam Dyce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tostão Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the game, Sidnei Trigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alam Dyce. Sidnei Trigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 14 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Sidnei Trigo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alam Dyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alam Dyce was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Davi Lopes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Davi Lopes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 25th minute, Sidnei Trigo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alam Dyce. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 30th minute Nagrand were awarded a corner. Rudy Yi-Sheng went to the cornerflag to take it. Nagrand's Rudy Yi-Sheng was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jean Leite in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sarb Pillai kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Alam Dyce made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Tostão Goiano sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute of the match Sagarana Clube got a corner. Nagrand's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tostão Goiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alam Dyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Lopes in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iskandar Phua in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean Leite saved Sagarana Clube from getting behind. In the 47th match minute, Nagrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Laycock to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iskandar Phua to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iskandar Phua in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Didi Chandran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Nagrand booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didi Chandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alam Dyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Chai during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Ali Chai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Didi Kool managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagrand's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi Kool was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Leite came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nagrand's Rudy Yi-Sheng. But to his dismay, Rudy Yi-Sheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. A collision led to Nagrand getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Didi Chandran hit a great ball. Alam Dyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alam Dyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Trigo in the 86th minute of the match. If Didi Chandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Nagrand defense, Tostão Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alam Dyce. The Nagrand fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alam Dyce should have stopped the shot. Sidnei Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Sagarana Clube's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
