Olov Alefors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomir Koperski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eddie Strandberg fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored White Hart Lane's protests and gave Eddie Strandberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Eddie Strandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ludomir Koperski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sparta LKS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomir Koperski couldn't finish the play. Sparta LKS's Wladyslaw Kajdasz got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. White Hart Lane's Olov Alefors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Trojanowski in the 33rd minute of play. Kacper Japola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Mattsson in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play White Hart Lane's Eddie Strandberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 40th minute of the match Wladyslaw Kajdasz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olov Alefors skillfully saved the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Sylwester Trojanowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olov Alefors. White Hart Lane's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sylwester Trojanowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sylwester Trojanowski got free with Olov Alefors in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

If Ksawery Felenak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play, Sparta LKS's Sylwester Trojanowski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Alefors was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st match minute, Sparta LKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Kajdasz to maneuver through the defense. Olov Alefors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wladyslaw Kajdasz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ludomir Koperski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Alefors was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, White Hart Lane's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Trojanowski came free, but Olov Alefors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Sparta LKS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
