Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kléberson de Moraes started the match with the kick off. The supporters of SANTOS F.C booed when Racing Club【LBF】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Geleberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos got control of the ball when Agustin Florian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kléberson de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Romulo Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Racing Club【LBF】's Pastor Geleberto in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANTOS F.C's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th match minute, Racing Club【LBF】 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Cordeara to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Breno Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilson Travassos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ulises Cordeara. 45 minutes into the game, Pastor Geleberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Travassos. Pastor Geleberto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Geleberto to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Eriberto Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Agustin Florian fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club【LBF】's protests and gave Agustin Florian a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Racing Club【LBF】 got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Florian. Romulo Magdaleno came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by SANTOS F.C's Benjamin Quirino. But to his dismay, Benjamin Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Florian in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Angelo Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Racing Club【LBF】 getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Omar Ulizes hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Pastor Geleberto sped through SANTOS F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Travassos. In the 82nd minute, Agustin Florian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Travassos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 85thth minute of the game Agustin Florian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Florian came free, but Wilson Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Racing Club【LBF】 got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Florian. 94 minutes into the match, Racing Club【LBF】's Pastor Geleberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Travassos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilson Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Geleberto's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the SANTOS F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Club【LBF】.
