Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Cordarryl started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SANTOS F.C's Luís Gustavo Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jonas Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 11 minutes, Fidel Bernaldo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Donzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Mambru came free, but Wilson Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson de Moraes in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Malvinas Argentinas's Genaro Ibañez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Kléberson de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléberson de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Jonas Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Quintyn in the 27th minute of play. Benjamin Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Malvinas Argentinas's Cesar Aurre got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Malvinas Argentinas's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Nóbrega came free, but Leonel Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléberson de Moraes to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Cordarryl got free with Wilson Travassos in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SANTOS F.C's Angelo Secco got a free kick in the 68th minute. Wilson Travassos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonas Cordarryl. Jonas Cordarryl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save SANTOS F.C from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SANTOS F.C booed when Malvinas Argentinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Malvinas Argentinas got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Mambru. In the 86th match minute, Malvinas Argentinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos got control of the ball when Jonas Cordarryl tried to sneak it across the goal line. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Cordarryl in the 93rd minute of play. Malvinas Argentinas's Leonel Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson de Moraes in the 94th minute of play. The SANTOS F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Malvinas Argentinas's performance. The match ended with a win for Malvinas Argentinas.
