In the 3rd minute, Angelo Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Greshake was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wilson Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Kovac, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Quirino came free, but Emanuel Greshake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, SANTOS F.C's Kléberson de Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Greshake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Emanuel Greshake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson de Moraes in the 18th minute of play. SANTOS F.C's Breno Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Breno Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Greshake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Ralf Henschel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balus Treter's Emanuel Greshake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Nóbrega in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Breno Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Greshake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão de Amaral in the 41st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kornelius Wewers during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balus Treter! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harald Kovac was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Balus Treter's Battista Tünnissen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Battista Tünnissen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Balus Treter protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Battista Tünnissen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Balus Treter:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SANTOS F.C:s goal. When the match had been going on for 55 minutes, SANTOS F.C's Angelo Secco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emanuel Greshake. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Max Eichwald got a free kick in the 68th minute. With his leg Emanuel Greshake managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when SANTOS F.C's Kléberson de Moraes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the game, Benjamin Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Emanuel Greshake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Zenobio Walendi got a free kick in the 87th minute. Kornelius Wewers hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Angelo Secco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Greshake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
