Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Tomas Pere started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Liberato got free with Cosme Reynardo in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Bentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Lucena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Reynardo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Amadeo Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Echale FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Policarpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Padilha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the game, Amadeo Policarpio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Echale FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCPorto the free kick. A collision led to Echale FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Amadeo Policarpio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sálvio Poças in the 30th minute of play forced Echale FC's goalkeeper Cosme Reynardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Padilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Aztore in the 32nd minute of play. Emílio Castro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Filipe Padilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Pere in the 34th minute of the match. After the first half Echale FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Liberato to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Liberato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mariano Aztore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Filipe Padilha made a huge save. If Amadeo Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Rigoberto Lawrence mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Echale FC and the FCPorto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Echale FC's Rigoberto Lawrence got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Amadeo Policarpio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filipe Padilha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Damião Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Filipe Padilha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Salgueiro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Tomas Pere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Echale FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.
