The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diamantino de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Juniors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Frank Koehler took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Esteve Jerardo to make any attempt to save it. In the 16th match minute, Bandeirinha AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Tande to maneuver through the defense. Andrézinho Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Bizen in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Jatsu in the 28th minute of play forced Bandeirinha AD's goalkeeper Andrézinho Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Frank Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandeirinha AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juniors FC the free kick. In the 29th minute, Frank Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrézinho Valladares came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Juniors FC's Ruben Bizen. But to his dismay, Ruben Bizen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Juniors FC's Esteve Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Coutinho in the 36th minute of play. Elói Quirino hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Samuel Guzman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrézinho Valladares. Bandeirinha AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Guzman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ramiro Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Esteve Jerardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandeirinha AD. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriel da Rocha could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Esteve Jerardo however easily saved by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Coutinho to make the kick off. Esteve Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Coutinho in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes, Mateo Petrigai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juniors FC and the Bandeirinha AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Lucio Mancio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Coutinho came free, but Esteve Jerardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bandeirinha AD getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bandeirinha AD's Andrézinho Valladares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Bandeirinha AD from getting a goal against them. Gabriel da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel da Rocha scored 4-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Jerardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bandeirinha AD were victorious despite being under pressure from Juniors FC for much of the match.
