The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when Dragones Celestes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simón Mendoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Dragones Celestes's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Bäckström came free, but Adelio Palomino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dragones Celestes's Blanco Pazols got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, SSC Ambrosini's Ingvar Sillén dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Adelio Palomino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Bäckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Dragones Celestes's Adelio Palomino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Dragones Celestes from getting a goal against them. Adelio Palomino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Söderlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Sillén scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adelio Palomino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Dragones Celestes's Blanco Pazols got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Sillén got free with Adelio Palomino in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 38 played minutes, SSC Ambrosini's Alf Kullgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adelio Palomino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SSC Ambrosini reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ingvar Sillén made the kick off in the second half. Blanco Pazols's late challenge caught a SSC Ambrosini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blanco Pazols helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dragones Celestes's Blanco Pazols got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, Ingvar Sillén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adelio Palomino. Dragones Celestes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Sillén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Adelio Palomino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Sillén in the 59th minute of the match. SSC Ambrosini's Ove Vassenius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save SSC Ambrosini from getting a goal against them. Roy Elgueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ove Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragones Celestes's Adelio Palomino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Sillén in the 66th minute of play. Ove Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Elgueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelio Palomino came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by SSC Ambrosini's Ingvar Sillén. But to his dismay, Ingvar Sillén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Blanco Pazols received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ove Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blanco Pazols struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ove Vassenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragones Celestes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Bäckström in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adelio Palomino saved Dragones Celestes from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SSC Ambrosini had played much better football throughout.
