Militros F.C.'s Sandro Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Majdoch in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Militros F.C.'s Reinaldo Saldanha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Radomil Zbikowski. Radomil Zbikowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Radomil Zbikowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diguinho da Rocha in the 27th minute. Militros F.C.'s Sandro Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafał Wern in the 29th minute of play. Sandro Tasso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafał Wern went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Militros F.C.'s Diguinho da Rocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Radomil Zbikowski. That made the score 2-2 after 32 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Saldanha in the 35th minute of play forced Mauro's goalkeeper Radomil Zbikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radoslaw Zagrobelny took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sandro Tasso. Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Militros F.C.'s Reinaldo Saldanha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Radomil Zbikowski. That made the score 3-2 after 40 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rafał Wern managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafał Wern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafał Wern to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Boruc Majdoch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sandro Tasso. The goal made the score 3-3. Reinaldo Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Igor Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cezary Raszek took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Tasso. Sandro Tasso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Boruc Majdoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Militros F.C.'s zone, Boruc Majdoch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Tasso came out of the goal and Boruc Majdoch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Mauro booed when Militros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Majdoch came free, but Sandro Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes Militros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Romário Silveira. Igor Meirelles charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Meirelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Rafał Wern fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mauro's protests and gave Rafał Wern a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mauro's Rafał Wern got a free kick in the 91st minute. Boruc Majdoch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Edward Marchefka kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
