Enéas Aparecido hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Manfred Vennerström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Calle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayern Lessa - u21 the free kick. When Patric Billock fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Calle's protests and gave Patric Billock a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Real Calle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patric Billock to maneuver through the defense. Délio Sergipano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Wiktor Kjellbom made a huge save. Wiktor Kjellbom had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Waldemar de Toledo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edvaldo Zonta hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Patric Billock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvaldo Zonta came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wiktor Kjellbom could save by the left post. Délio Sergipano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Wiktor Kjellbom made a huge save. After 36 played minutes Real Calle got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Mårtensson. If Raimundo Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bayern Lessa - u21's zone, Robert Berglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho de Almeida came out of the goal and Robert Berglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Raimundo Loyola made the kick off in the second half. Délio Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Calle's Patric Billock got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Calle's Wiktor Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Gerber in the 64th minute of play. Wiktor Kjellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Sergipano in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Edvaldo Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Délio Sergipano got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Diamantino Gerber took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wiktor Kjellbom. Wiktor Kjellbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Charles Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiktor Kjellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ronaldinho de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Billock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Real Calle's zone, Délio Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wiktor Kjellbom came out of the goal and Délio Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiktor Kjellbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Sergipano in the 95th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Real Calle got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Vennerström. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Calle players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bayern Lessa - u21.
