The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, FK Dampsaga's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Croteau came free, but Jørn Sandbakk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alton Tate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jørn Sandbakk having to interfere. Jørn Sandbakk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earl Croteau, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Alton Tate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Dampsaga's Jørn Sandbakk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jørn Sandbakk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alton Tate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Earl Croteau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørn Sandbakk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Bussière took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jørn Sandbakk. Jørn Sandbakk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Jørn Sandbakk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alton Tate in the 44th minute of the match. Jørn Sandbakk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earl Croteau, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ove Idsø to strike the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alton Tate in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jørn Sandbakk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, FK Dampsaga's Jørn Sandbakk got control of the ball when Jordan Bussière tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Earl Croteau made a precise shot to the right of Jørn Sandbakk. FK Dampsaga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Jørn Sandbakk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when FK Dampsaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torkel Løkås didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymundo Dooley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jørn Sandbakk made a huge save. Jørn Sandbakk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Earl Croteau went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earl Croteau in the 90th minute of play forced FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Jørn Sandbakk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Ahmed Maheu with Mitch Reeves as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, FK Dampsaga's Jørn Sandbakk got control of the ball when Raymundo Dooley tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FK Dampsaga fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Qikiqtarjuaq FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
