Marius Moldskred made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jonathan Birkenes however managed to control. 27 minutes into the match, FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Jørn Sandbakk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grant Cornish. 32 minutes into the game, Marius Moldskred was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Dampsaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TibaDons the free kick. After a rather tough play, FK Dampsaga's Marius Moldskred got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ove Idsø blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ollie Clark having to make a save. Ollie Clark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Idsø in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Grant Cornish managed to get in a good position for a shot. TibaDons's supporters rose to their feet, but Grant Cornish was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jørn Sandbakk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Postolan in the 48th minute of play forced FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Jørn Sandbakk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ove Idsø was the one to do the kick off. Rick Postolan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jørn Sandbakk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor-Henrik Kleven charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor-Henrik Kleven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FK Dampsaga getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tor-Henrik Kleven hit a great ball. Austen Bull sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jørn Sandbakk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant Cornish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes FK Dampsaga got a freekick which was hit by Alex Opsal. 70 minutes into the game, one of FK Dampsaga:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jørn Sandbakk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Postolan in the 74th minute of play. When Stu Blewett fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TibaDons's protests and gave Stu Blewett a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FK Dampsaga's Vetle Vestrheim got a free kick in the 78th minute. TibaDons's attack was well implemented in the 84th minute, but when Grant Cornish was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grant Cornish in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jørn Sandbakk saved FK Dampsaga from getting behind. Tor-Henrik Kleven got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Tor-Henrik Kleven hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Gaute Nordskog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Dampsaga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TibaDons the free kick.
