The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Alton Tate nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sylwester Poling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Antoine Maddox had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanislaw Lanczak. After 12 minutes of play, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Marcin Przybyciel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoine Maddox was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 played minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Dembkowski. In the 17th minute Raymundo Dooley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Earl Croteau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoine Maddox was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Lech Rzentkowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lech Rzentkowski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Lucjan Patora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Antoine Maddox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Jordan Bussière came free, but Sylwester Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Stanislaw Lanczak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antoine Maddox. Antoine Maddox yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Earl Croteau charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Earl Croteau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earl Croteau to maneuver through the defense. Antoine Maddox made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Lucjan Patora sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin made a substitution. Stanislaw Galagan replaced Stanislaw Lanczak. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lech Rzentkowski was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Lech Rzentkowski made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Antoine Maddox tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Mitch Reeves got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 76 minutes, Alton Tate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qikiqtarjuaq FC and the Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alton Tate didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Galagan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1.
