When Edgar Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SUPERSTAR - DMZ's protests and gave Edgar Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, SUPERSTAR - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Guerra to maneuver through the defense. If Hortêncio Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellington Donatello made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sandro Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Eusébio Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Santo Amaro AC's Ricardo Garcia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wellington Donatello. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Samuca Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Wellington Donatello successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 42 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Wellington Donatello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Maciel. Wellington Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With a little luck, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Wellington Donatello got control of the ball when Sandro Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Barreto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Guerra hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Sandro Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Adriano Carvalho got a free kick in the 58th minute. Wellington Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Garcia came free, but Wellington Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Eusébio Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Cearense in the 65th minute of the match. When Samuca Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SUPERSTAR - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Cearense couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Maciel in the 71st minute of play forced SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goalkeeper Wellington Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Samuca Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Sandro Barreto notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Wellington Donatello. Wellington Donatello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wellington Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandro Barreto scored 6-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington Donatello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusébio Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Garcia came free, but Wellington Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válter Rosado hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Acácio Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wellington Donatello. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Acácio Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Santo Amaro AC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
