Serafino Geofredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Figueiredo made a huge save. Dalmo Bertassi took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Steven. Javier Steven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After some careless play in the C. A. Potrero defense, Dalmo Bertassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Steven. The C. A. Potrero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Steven should have stopped the shot. Javier Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Bertassi in the 80th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Eulalio Inocente sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Inocente. Gustavo Santos took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Steven. Javier Steven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2.
